Commencing with DFK Finishing in 1967, continuing as Kummerow & Associates in 1975 and Image Restoration Services in 1985, David has not only expanded his skills and resources, he also fine-tuned his business practices to address the ever evolving needs of the Household Goods Moving , Storage and Insurance Industries.
During a career spanning 45 years Mr. Kummerow has visited an astounding 61,000 homes and offices in a geographic region encompassing Chicagoland and Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. David has additionally worked with local storage and Insurance agents and traveled far from his home base to survey major loss and damage exposures across the country. Responding to assignments involving a single piece of damaged goods all the way up to the contents of shipping containers arriving from International destinations, David brings unparalleled experience to the task.
His keenly retentive mind, sensitivity to the business concerns of the corporate clients as well as the emotions of the claimant, comprehensive knowledge of household goods and highly developed communication skills are but a few of David's attributes.

Having over 30 years of Professional sales experience, with the last 17 years as a Key Accounts Manager with
Newell-Rubbermaid Office Products Division, where she managed accounts with sales in access of
$16 million annually.
With her recent marriage to David and the relocation to the Chicago area, Lisa thought that it was time for a complete change and is now at the helm of Image Restoration Services, Inc.
Lisa brings her attention to detail along with thoughtful and thorough consideration of all relative aspects of Customer Service.
